Heat-insulation coefficient values of Stars by QFORT windows:

Please find below the heat-insulation coefficient values relevant for QFORT heat-insulation windows.

The Ug coefficient represents the heat transfer value calculated at the level of the window glazing.

The Uw coefficient represents the heat transfer value calculated for the entire window.

The smaller the U coefficient, the lower the heat loss and the better the heat insulation of that building element.

Standard equipment LowE Clear Insulating Glass
Uw = 1,16 W/m²K |
Double glazing Ug = 1,1 W/m²K
Uw = 0,80 W/m²K |
Triple glazing Ug = 0,6 W/m²K
Standard equipment LowE Clear Insulating Glass
Uw = 1,16 W/m²K |
Double glazing Ug = 1,1 W/m²K
Uw = 0,83 W/m²K |
Triple glazing Ug = 0,6 W/m²K
Standard equipment LowE Clear Insulating Glass
Uw = 1,26 W/m²K |
Double glazing Ug = 1,1 W/m²K
Uw = 0,92 W/m²K |
Triple glazing Ug = 0,6 W/m²K
Standard equipment LowE Clear Insulating Glass
Uw = 1,29 W/m²K |
Double glazing Ug = 1,1 W/m²K
Uw = 0,94 W/m²K |
Triple glazing Ug = 0,6 W/m²K
The Uw value is calculated for a standard 1230 mm × 1480 mm window with a surface area of 1.82 m² and a warm spacer.
Uw and Ug values may vary according to the glazing unit type used. For a precise value, please check on QFORT offers.

Energy Saving with Stars by QFORT Windows

The graph below clearly shows the advantages of both comfort and energy savings obtained, depending on the type of glass of the chosen windows.

The U coefficient represents the heat transfer value of a building element (wall, window, door, etc.) and shows how well that specific building element conducts heat.

Smaller U coefficient = Lower heat loss
